Terms & Conditions
(IN-ROOM SPA SERVICE)

1) Service Overview

Matcha Luxury Japanese Spa (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides professional in-room spa treatments in Osaka, Japan. Services are available by appointment only and require prepayment.

2) Service Area & Travel Fee

  • Travel fee is included for locations within 30 minutes from Namba Station.

  • For locations beyond this range, a flat travel fee of +¥5,000 applies.

  • For locations more than 60 minutes from Namba Station, availability is by request only.

  • Any additional fees will be confirmed before payment is finalized.​

3) Hotels Only / Not Accepted Locations

  • We provide service in hotels only.

  • Love hotels are not accepted.

  • Service may be refused if the hotel does not allow visitor entry, if access cannot be granted, or if the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

4) Hotel Entry Fees / Visitor Fees
Some hotels may charge a visitor/entry fee or require registration for external visitors. Any such fees charged by the hotel are paid directly to the hotel by the guest.

5) Guest Verification (Safety)

For safety and fraud prevention, we may request to see a valid photo ID at check-in (e.g., passport or residence card).

  • We do not store or copy your ID unless required by law.

6) What’s Included / Preparation

We bring the necessary basic supplies for the treatment.
Guests are kindly asked to provide:

  • a safe space to set up (a clear area near the bed), and

  • access to water/washroom as needed.

7) Professional Conduct / No Sexual Services

Our service is strictly non-sexual and professional.
The following will result in immediate termination of the session without refund:

  • any sexual requests or inappropriate behavior,

  • harassment, intimidation, or unsafe conduct,

  • recording without consent, or

  • any actions that make the therapist feel unsafe.

8) Health Conditions / Contraindications

Please inform us in advance if you have any of the following:

  • pregnancy, recent surgery/injury, severe pain, fever,

  • heart conditions, high blood pressure, blood clot risks,

  • skin conditions, allergies (including oils/fragrances), or

  • intoxication (alcohol/drugs).

We may refuse service if treatment is not safe. In such cases, refund decisions will be handled according to Section 11.

9) Arrival, Access & Late Start

  • Please ensure the therapist can enter the hotel smoothly (lobby access, elevator access, room number sharing as permitted by hotel policy).

  • If access is delayed due to guest/hotel circumstances, the session time may be shortened to respect the schedule.

10) Payment & Pricing

  • All bookings require full prepayment.

  • Prices are shown in JPY.

  • Your card provider may apply exchange rates and fees.

  • Gratuity/tips are optional.

11) Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Same-day cancellation / no-show: 100% charge (no refund)

  • Cancellation the day before: 50% charge

  • 2+ days before: full refund (minus payment processing fees, if applicable)

If we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., therapist emergency), you will receive a full refund.

12) Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service when safety, legality, or comfort cannot be ensured (including hotel entry restrictions or inappropriate behavior).

13) Liability

Our services are not medical treatment and do not replace professional medical care.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • pre-existing conditions,

  • hotel policies or restrictions,

  • guest-provided environment hazards (e.g., slippery floors, limited space), or

  • indirect or consequential losses.

14) Privacy

We handle personal information according to our Privacy Policy.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Osaka.
